What are the costs of your service and how do you charge?

We charge 20% (excl GST) of the nightly rate, after the channel fee (from AirBNB, Stayz)
and any cleaning fee which the guests pay. The total payout is paid to Holiday Home Hosts
and then we pay your share, via direct deposit, on a monthly basis.

What type of properties do you host?

The property needs to be fully furnished and self contained. Propeties can range from a one
bedroom apartment to five bedroom house. If your property is of good quality, and well
maintained, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Can I come and stay in the property?

Yes. You can block out and make the property unavailable for any dates for your own use.
During and after your stay you will be responsible for all cleaning costs, consumable
restocking and any other costs pertaining to your stay.

What about linen?

Each property owner will need to supply three sets of linen and towels. Depending on the size of the
property you may need to provide more linen. We can advise how many sets you will
require and are happy to obtain them for you at an additional cost. Mattress and pillow
protectors are also necessary for each bed and pillow. Depending on the locationof the property,
the owner may also be required to supply beach towels.

Who pays for the consumables?

All the consumables will be managed and restocked by Holiday Home Hosts. These will
include hand soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, washing detergent, dishwashing
tablets & liquid, rubbish bags, tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, milk, kitchen towel, and toilet paper.

What happens if a guest damages my property?

We recommend that all property owners obtain Short Term Rental insurance. Hosting
channels such as AirBNB have their own guarantee protecting guests up to $1,000,000.
Your own insurance will be more comprehensive and usually amounts to a few hundred
dollars annually for coverage.

Will my property be cleaned for each guest?

Yes. Our cleaning partners are efficient and trustworthy. If you already have a cleaner,
we are happy to work with them.

What about guest communications, reviews and feedback?

We manage all guest communications from initial enquiries, time of booking,
during and until after their stay.
